Tim has extensive knowledge and skills in American, Classical, Asian and Nutritional cuisines. He specializes in garde manger and charcuterie.
Before coming to Blackwells Restaurant, Tim Rodgers was the Executive Chef at the Capital Grille in Dallas Texas, where he raised the restaurant rating of the upscale fresh fish and steak house to 4 stars in a very aggressive market.
From 1988 until 2001 Tim was with the Culinary Institute of America, first as senior Chef Instructor, and later as Chef and Associate Dean of Culinary Arts.
Tim was the Chef for 1995 President Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin summit. He was the Executive Chef of the Institute's 4 Award winning restaurants, creating special dinners for many great chefs of the world.
